Our Story
From the Beginning
This journey started with a search. A search for freedom, healing and a safe place. In that time, The Holy Spirit led Ms. Naomi to create "Journey2Freedom". This started her journey of caring for children in an unorthodox way. She went into homes to teach, nurture, and support children in their growth and development. Although the time spent was beautiful, God had more in store. As she taught and provided care, God did the same in her personal life. Throughout that journey, she has discovered something that she never expected to find - a safe place. This place of refuge is a location where one can be completely undone without shame, guilt or condemnation. This place provides nurturing and nourishment for the journey. It gives joy, peace, love and protection; and this place is found in the presence of our Father. This place is where we desire for your child to be. We would love to have you and your child be apart as we grow and learn in His presence. Welcome to My Safe Haven.
Mission
Our mission is to provide a safe haven for children to thrive as they grow into God’s original design. We collaborate with families in cultivating the hearts and minds of our future. Our goal is to prepare them spiritually, emotionally, mentally, and socially to be a light in a dark world. We provide many opportunities for our children to build connections with one another, expand their social skills, explore the world around them, and exercise their right to make a choice. We believe in Proverbs 22:6 and the importance of leading children in the way they should go - according to The Kingdom of God.
